Who you are contracting with

MendRii is operated by Jamason Counseling, LLC ("we", "us"), trading as MendRii. By creating an account, buying a plan, or continuing to use this site, you agree to these terms and you are entering an agreement with Jamason Counseling, LLC. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You confirm you are at least 18 years old, and where you are using MendRii on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it. Educational purpose only

MendRii is an educational tool that highlights language patterns commonly associated with coercive control and explains them. It is not a professional, an assessment, or an authority. Its output is informational and may be incomplete or wrong.

Not legal, medical or therapeutic advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice, medical advice, psychological or therapeutic advice, risk assessment, or a substitute for any of them. Coercive control laws differ enormously between countries and states. For advice about your situation, consult a qualified lawyer, clinician or a specialist domestic abuse service.

No diagnosis of any person or relationship

MendRii does not and cannot determine whether abuse has occurred, whether any person is abusive, or whether any relationship is healthy. It comments on text you provide, nothing more. Text can be partial, out of context, edited, or written by someone other than the person you have in mind.

AI output: your inputs, your judgement

MendRii uses a third-party large language model to produce its analysis. AI output is generated automatically, can be inaccurate, inconsistent or incomplete, and must not be relied on for legal, medical, clinical, safety or other regulated decisions without qualified human oversight. You are responsible for the text and context you submit, for having the right to hold and submit that material, and for how you use anything MendRii produces. You must not submit content that is unlawful, or that you have obtained by covert surveillance of another person's private accounts or devices. We may filter, refuse, restrict or remove content and outputs, and we may suspend accounts used to generate abusive, unlawful or harassing material.

Your decisions are your own

Any decision you make — to stay, to leave, to confront someone, to contact authorities, to say nothing — is your decision. We are not responsible or liable for relationship outcomes, safety outcomes, legal outcomes, financial losses, or any consequences arising from your use of this app or its output. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Availability

We do not guarantee that MendRii will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We may change, suspend or withdraw features as the product develops.

Intellectual property

MendRii, including its software, lessons, wording, design and branding, belongs to Jamason Counseling, LLC. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own purposes within the plan you have chosen. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, scrape or circumvent technical limits of the service. Text you submit remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely in order to provide the service to you. If you believe content on MendRii infringes your rights, email support@mendrii.com with details and we will review it and remove infringing material where appropriate; repeat infringement leads to account termination.

Not for emergencies and not evidence

Do not use MendRii in an emergency — contact your local emergency services. MendRii is not designed as an evidence-gathering tool and its output is not prepared for, or suitable for, court proceedings.

Acceptable use

Use MendRii to understand communication involving you. Do not use it to monitor, profile, build a case against, or harass another person, and do not upload other people's private material you have no right to hold. You must not use the service unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe intellectual property, or to interfere with its security (including malware, probing, scraping or attempting to access other accounts).

Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, applicable taxes, renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. In summary: subscriptions renew automatically at the advertised price until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing to the end of the paid period; one-time report unlocks are for the specific conversation purchased. See our refund policy. Free access to helplines, safety planning and the free lessons never requires payment.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious misuse of the service. You may close your account at any time from your account page, which deletes your saved conversations immediately. Where we terminate without cause, you may request a pro-rata refund of any unused paid period.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Jamason Counseling, LLC is established, and disputes will be heard by the courts of that jurisdiction. These terms may change as the app develops; continuing to use MendRii means accepting the current version. See also our privacy notice and refund policy.
